Looking at results by business line, Ipsos said it is particularly pleased to see the renewed stability of Ipsos Connect. According to the firm, Ipsos Marketing had an 'excellent quarter', while for Ipsos Loyalty the quarter was not as good. Ipsos says it continues to forecast satisfactory year-long performance for both business lines.

In a statement, the firm added: 'Ipsos - on the strength of its market share gains, competitive position and the rise of its New Services - should experience 2016 fourth quarter growth close to that shown since the beginning of the financial year and thus set up the right conditions for launching 2017. Moreover, in line with what has been projected and reported, operating margin for 2016 will be equivalent to that of 2015'.
