Enterprise data and analytics solutions firm Annik has been acquired by US-based customer engagement company LiquidHub. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Annik helps clients identify and use data from a variety of internal and external platforms including paid and public data sources such as market research, social media listening and visual analytics. The company has six locations; two in India and one each in Poland, China, the United States, and the UK.
LiquidHub says the acquisition will expand its own data management, market research and analytics capabilities, as well as its geographical footprint. As part of the deal, Annik's President and CEO Rahul Sahgal, COO Sandeep Bhatia, and the firm's 1,000 employees will join the LiquidHub team.
Jonathan Brassington (pictured), LiquidHub CEO and co-founder, comments: 'Companies need better insights to transform their customer engagement strategies or they risk becoming irrelevant. As we continue to re-imagine engagement by better understanding the people who matter most to our clients, the addition of Annik's capabilities in market research, data science, data analytics and insights around customer behavior is critically important to LiquidHub's rapid growth in this space'.
