Sheldrake Ducks Out of Perspective

January 6 2017

Founder Richard Sheldrake is leaving Perspective Research Services and its parent, BDRC Group, for 'personal lifestyle reasons'.

Richard SheldrakeSheldrake founded Perspective 21 years ago with his wife Jemma, and the agency was acquired by B2B MR agency BDRC in 2007. Sheldrake has been COO of the group for two and a half years, and has spent this time living on the south coast, combining working from home with spending three days a week in London, but 'no longer wishes to continue this regime' according to Group CEO Cris Tarrant, who comments: 'I am personally grateful for all that Richard has done to get the business to where it is today - he can be justifiably proud of his contribution. At the same time I respect his decision to spend more time with his family and wish him well for the future'.

Perspective's remaining Board directors, Ger-Jan van der Maten, Greg Berry and Steven Flood will continue running the company as before under Chairman Ivor Stocker.
