InCrowd Debuts Interview Tool MicroQual

February 24 2017

US healthcare researcher InCrowd has launched a tool called MicroQual, which automates the process of coordinating and executing qualitative virtual research.

Janet KosloffThe firm offers an automated platform to connect pharma, medical device and life sciences firms with 'crowds' of screened and targeted healthcare professionals. Last year, it launched a tool called MicroTracker, which provides an automated approach to life science tracking studies, and monitors trends in the brand perception of healthcare prescribers and consumers.

The new MicroQual tool promises completed healthcare stakeholder interviews in a fraction of the time. According to InCrowd, in early tests by medical product providers the tool reduced the typical eight to twelve week process of securing and conducting qual interviews, to just one to two weeks. The solution enables teams to schedule series of 'micro meetings' - brief, virtual meetings with participants as short as twenty minutes. It incorporates real-time scheduling for same-day interviews, and enables follow-up interviews with participants or specific quantitative survey respondents.

CEO and co-founder Janet Kosloff (pictured) comments: 'MicroQual does for qualitative research what InCrowd has pioneered and proven in quantitative life science market research. It helps life science and healthcare organizations to gather more comprehensive qualitative insights, faster, and with far greater efficiency'.
