Kantar Names International Development Leader

In the US, Kantar Public has appointed Susan Gigli as Global Director for International Development, based in its Washington DC office. She has also been appointed to the Kantar Public Global Board.

Susan GigliThe Development Practice brings together teams and capability from across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East, and draws on Kantar's global expertise in the public sector. Gigli (pictured) joins with a 25-year background in international development. Most recently, she served as Research Director at international policy specialist Broad Branch Associates, responsible for growing a research practice to support international development clients' need for real-time evidence. Prior to this, she was COO of global research consultancy InterMedia, where she worked for more than eighteen years.

In her new role, Gigli will work closely with Development Practice co-Chairs Melissa Baker (CEO Kantar Public Africa and Middle East) and A V Surya (CEO Kantar Public South Asia), focusing on US-based clients in the international development sector, and leading the programme of digital innovation within the Development Practice.
