Havas Launches Standalone Influencer Team

Havas Media has launched a division called Socialyse Influence, which will monitor all client influencer campaigns, and ensure they are accurately measured.

Jenna WalkerThe move builds on Havas' existing social media arm Socialyse, which combines technology and monitoring tools with the skills of analysts, to measure the impact of social media activity. Socialyse also offers a full suite of social media communications across paid, earned and owned media.

The new six-member team will be led by Socialyse Content and Creative Director Jenna Walker (pictured), with support from Socialyse director Jess Rowntree; and also includes newly hired Nik Speller, who joins from influencer marketing agency Three Letters, and Zoe Crook, who joins from The War Agency. The team is tasked with working across all Havas clients to provide influencer marketing for brands, and 'grow business leaders into influencers'. They will also introduce a new tool, offering identification metrics, brand-safety checks, influencer workflow management, and real-time performance analytics.

Havas Media Group CEO Paul Frampton says the launch 'reflects the growing need for a dedicated team of experts working on influencer campaigns'. He continues: 'The industry is proving slow to react to this rapidly emerging trend. At Havas, we have identified a need not only for campaign management but for strong brand-safety awareness and measurement effectiveness'.
