Gagnon Replaces Kusick as plista Global MD

In Germany, WPP's digital ad targeting specialist plista has promoted Michel Gagnon to the role of Global Managing Director, replacing Jana Kusick who has stepped down for personal reasons.

Michel GagnonThe firm, which is part of WPP's audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis, uses a proprietary data-driven platform to deliver content and ads tailored to the interests of individual site visitors, based on previous reading and clickthrough behaviour. Gagnon (pictured) joined last year as Director of International Business Development, having previously led PwC's Strategy Consulting practice in Germany.

Commenting on the promotion, Global President Nicolas Bidon said: 'Michel has been a rising star at plista and brings with him a wealth of expertise when it comes to leading strategic changes, optimizing operations, and accelerating international revenue. His recognized experience and excellent reputation within the company made him the natural successor to Jana Kusick, who unfortunately has decided to step down for personal reasons. I am very happy to have him as plista's new Global Managing Director and look forward to working with him'.

Kusick will act as a strategic advisor to the company until the end of the year; while Stefan Klimek will remain in his role as Global VP Finance and second MD HR & Commercial.
