Management Changes at d.fferento/ogy

In the UK, MR and insight company d.fferento/ogy has promoted Mark James to the role of Managing Director, with responsibility for three divisional heads. Meanwhile former YouGov researcher Paul Marshall joins the firm as Insight Director.

Mark JamesThe Northumberland and London-based firm, which is part of the e>erything d.fferent group, combines market research and technology to uncover consumer insights, then uses creative communication to disseminate the findings. James (pictured) joined in 2013 from media research agency Other Lines of Enquiry / Dipsticks Research. As part of his promotion, he will oversee James Dickie, who continues to head up the d.fferento/ogy Research team; Dan Brilot, who has led the Insight team since 2015; and Lizzie Gilthorpe, who takes on the newly created role of Head of Strategy.

Marshall joins after nearly a decade at YouGov, where he latterly served as Key Account Director, working across all types of media within the Digital Media Technology team. Earlier, he was a Research Director at Synovate UAE in Dubai, and he spent nearly ten years at TNS, latterly in the ad hoc custom media division.
