US-based CEM specialist Market Force Information has been acquired by its management, in partnership with investment firm Main Street Capital.
Market Force, which has offices in the US, Canada, the UK, France and Spain, provides location-level measurement solutions such as customer experience surveys, employee engagement surveys, mystery shopping audits and contact center services, integrated into its KnowledgeForce tech and analytics platform. Last summer, the firm launched a mystery shopping app called Eyes:On, through which shoppers can view available assignments in their area, and submit shopping audits from their mobile devices.
The management-led buyout has been funded in the form of debt and a direct equity investment in the company. Market Force says it will work with its new partners to extend its offerings with new performance measures and technology developments. CEO Ray Walsh (pictured) comments: 'We are delighted to partner with a forward-thinking investment firm such as Main Street Capital to facilitate our innovation in the industry. We are excited about the future developments that this new partnership will help us implement with our clients across the globe, empowering us to continue as the gold standard for the customer experience industry'.
