Confirmit Finds New CFO

Research software firm Confirmit has appointed Halvor Stokke as Chief Financial Officer, following former CFO Ken Østreng's promotion to President and CEO earlier this year.

Established in 1996, Confirmit has growth both organically and as the result of a series of acquisitions. The latter include IRM (Information Research Management), social media analytics specialist Integrasco, enterprise feedback management software firm CustomerSat, mobile survey tech provider Techneos, and MR software developer Pulse Train.

Stokke (pictured) joins from engineering and construction firm Kvaerner, where he served as Vice President of M&A and Business Development, responsible for driving the reorganisation of the company as well as broader strategy and planning. Earlier, he worked in strategy and business development roles at Norwegian brewer Ringnes, which is part of the Carlsberg Group, having begun his career as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
