In Australia, marcoms group WPP AUNZ has launched a stakeholder and community engagement agency called The Bond & Associates, which will work with the group's government and private sector clients.
WPP AUNZ was formed in 2016, following WPP's acquisition of a controlling stake in STW Communications. The new agency will bring together expertise from across WPP's portfolio of agencies, to assist clients with consumer research, data, analysis, community and influencer stakeholder engagement, policy development, PR, government relations, social media campaigns and organisational capability building.
The new agency will be led by former Newgate Communications Associate Partner Gail Morgan (pictured), who has been named National Director. Commenting on the launch, Kieran Moore, CEO of WPP AUNZ PR and Public Affairs, said: 'The Bond & Associates has been designed to give clients one point of access to the breadth of capabilities and services needed to engage effectively, without adding complexity to the agency management process. Teamed with an increased understanding by all governments of the critical influence stakeholders can play on policy and service delivery, the time is right for us to create a competitive offer in this space, for the current and future requirements of clients'.
