Malatesta (pictured left) retains his previous roles of President and Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer. A former CMO of social media monitoring service Socialbakers, he has more than 22 years' business management experience in the software industry, including leadership and executive roles at IBM, Accenture, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Kaspersky Lab and Schneider Electric.

Gryn hopes his move will free up time for a number of other activities including the development of relationships with international business organizations, and supporting the agenda of AdTech accountability and compliance. He says of Malatesta: 'John is exactly the right leader for Codewise. His extensive executive background, as well as his knowledge of the marketing cloud and of the Customer Experience Management space, will greatly amplify the efforts that Codewise is making to strengthen its leadership position in the progressively converging AdTech and MarTech industries'. This includes expansion to new use cases, market segments and geographies, and the firm's evolution into 'a mature market-leading company'.

One of the firm's most recent launches was a feature called Smart eCPA, in its Zeropark ad exchange platform, allowing users to automatically optimize their ad campaigns.
