In the US, consumer understanding specialist Curion has hired Kevin Coleman to head up its recently launched sensory and product insights platform eFive.
Set up earlier this month by Curion, eFive analyzes response to products that invoke the five human senses - taste, touch, sight, smell and sound - to reduce the risk of marketplace failure. With access research services, and experience backed by Curion's methods, emerging brands can understand why consumers prefer one product over another, how to improve their product, and how it performs in comparison to the competition.
Coleman (pictured) was recently hired by Curion as General Manager, Director of Sales, having previously worked at marketing platform BrandMuscle as VP Sales; and social media consumer insights company Digsite as Senior Business Developer. Prior to this, he was Manager - Midmarket Sales for shopper insights and analytics ShopperTrak; and he worked for Marketwired as Senior Sales Team Lead.
Curion CEO Sean Bisceglia comments: 'Throughout Kevin's career, he has met and surpassed sales quotas to the tune of millions in new business. The bulk of his career has been spent in disciplines around consumer research. So he brings valuable knowledge and experience - he knows how to win.'
