In London, multi-media kids entertainment company Beano Studios has hired former Circle Research director Amanda Boote for its newly created role of Head of Insight, Sales & Business Development.
Beano Studios, which is driven by insight and data, creates, curates and delivers entertainment for kids of all ages worldwide, across TV, digital content, theatrical projects, consumer products, along the legendary comic and annual. Boote (pictured) joins from Next15's B2B research specialist Circle Research, where she served as Engagement Director (prior to the firm combining its research agencies into a new brand called Savanta).
Before this, she held senior roles at video big data technology specialist Big Sofa, tech consultancy Data Liberation, MR software provider Infotools and customer intelligence platform Vision Critical. Earlier, she worked for GfK and Synovate (now Ipsos), having previously been client-side in senior MR roles at Warner Home Video, Leatherhead Food, Findus, Unilever, Premier Foods and Avon Cosmetics.
In her newly created role, Boote is tasked with shaping commercial trend data and insight for Beano Studio's brand consultancy division Beano for Brands; while working with kids panel Beano Brains to generate insights for brands. Commenting on the appointment, Hayley Granston, MD Commercial, said: 'The arrival of Amanda further strengthens our ability to offer clients the insight to understand what young people want from them. Increasingly the industry is understanding that real influence doesn't come from a millennial influencer on a beach or up a mountain, but from kids in the home. Understanding and responding to that influence is only going to become more important for brands in the future, and Amanda will be pivotal in helping brands and agencies achieve that.'
