Pulsar Adds Physician Chat to TRAC Listening Tool

September 13 2019

Cello Health-owned audience intelligence specialist Pulsar has enhanced its TRAC social media listening tool with data drawn from 5.5 million medical conversations taking place on online physician community SERMO.

Francesco D'OrazioAcquired by healthcare researcher WorldOne in 2012, SERMO runs a network of 800,000 fully verified and licensed physicians across 150 countries. The platform enables doctors to anonymously talk about medicines, review treatment options via the proprietary Drug Ratings platform, and collectively solve patient issues. Pharmaceutical and healthcare partners use the firm's community to drive physician awareness and gain an understanding of brand perceptions.

Pulsar's solution offers access to healthcare-specific AI modules and analytics. Integrating SERMO's primary data straight into TRAC means marketers and researchers now have access to doctors' online conversations.

Pulsar CEO Francesco D'Orazio (pictured) comments: 'From our extensive experience working with healthcare clients spanning medical marketing agencies to pharmaceutical companies and hospitals, there was a clear gap in insights. Our partnership with SERMO fills this gap, and we feel that the possibilities for the insights we can now provide are endless - from assisting in planning and pitching of new business, to providing direction to the financial/investor community'.
