In the UK, former Kantar Deputy MD Jamie Thorpe has joined the Ipsos MORI Customer Experience (CX) business as Head of Experience Management (XM).
Thorpe (pictured) joins after two years at Kantar, where he originally served as Commercial Director, Customer Experience, before his promotion to Deputy MD, CX earlier this year. Before this, he spent a decade at mystery shopping and performance improvement firm Grass Roots, latterly as Head of Relationship and Commercial / Head of Measurement UK; and before this he worked for retail research specialist ESA as Client Service Director.
In a statement, Ipsos said Thorpe's expertise and long standing credibility in CX (and EX) will enable him to realise the potential in Ipsos MORI CX in the UK and beyond.
