Zappi Hires Client Leaders in London and New York

Automated consumer insights platform Zappi has appointed two new client leaders: former Nielsen exec Elena Protopapas as Standard Account Manager in London, and former Ipsos exec Marek Slodyczka as Vice President, Global Accounts in New York.

Zappi works in partnership with research agencies and offers off-the-shelf research products targeted at solving business issues ranging from new product development to pack testing, concept testing and social media monitoring. Protopapas joins after nearly five years at Nielsen's innovation division BASES, where latterly as Associate Manager, she focused on product innovation and packaging design.

Slodyczka most recently served as SVP and Executive Team Lead in Ipsos' innovation practice, having earlier led a team delivering insights to CPG clients. Prior to this he spent more than seven years at business intelligence and market analysis specialist Euromonitor; latterly as Global Account Director, focused on the CPG and consumer durables sectors.

The news follows a number of other Zappi appointments and promotions. Data strategist Yvonne O'Brien joined at the start of the year as Executive Vice President of go-to-market, and the company also announced a number of customer hires across sales, marketing and customer success.
