Euromonitor Launches Product Claim Tracking System

Global market reports and analysis firm Euromonitor has launched a system for tracking product claims across 40 countries and eleven industries.

Katharina BagulThe company, which has been publishing international market reports, business reference books and online databases on consumer markets for some forty years, opened in Hong Kong two years ago, and last year expanded its 'Passport' country coverage from eighty to 100 markets, representing 98% of global GDP.

The new Product Claims and Positioning system taps into the firm's eCommerce intelligence solution 'Via' to track more than 150 clean, ethical and dietary labels. This system provides data on online penetration of product claims, to help businesses understand 'conscious consumerism', support brand positioning initiatives, target formulation opportunities, and benchmark product portfolios against competitors.
