Rare Patient Voice Partners for European Expansion

October 5 2020

US and Canada-based patient-focused recruitment specialist Rare Patient Voice (RPV) is expanding to Europe through a partnership with research software firm Q One Tech.

Damir Fazlic and Pam CusickRPV provides patients and caregivers with an opportunity to voice their opinions through surveys and interviews, to help clients - market research firms, ad agencies, contract research organisations (CROs), and health economics and outcomes researchers (HEOR) - improve medical products and services. The company currently offers access to more than 100,000 patients across 496 different conditions.

The firm's partner in this expansion is UK and Canada-based Q One Tech, which offers a range of panel management, DIY online survey software, and other data collection and consumer insight platforms, as well as recruitment for customer panels and management of projects from concept to completion. Through the deal, RPV has launched recruiting efforts in the UK, and has future plans to expand to Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

The two companies have been working for a number of years on the management of RPV's US and Canadian panel, and RPV says that with its global presence, Q One Tech was an obvious partnering choice to help launch a GDPR-compliant global patient panel. Damir Fazlic, co-founder of Q One Tech says his firm is looking forward to supporting RPV in the next chapter of its story. RPV President Pam Cusick adds: 'Patients and clients have requested that we expand into other countries for years, so we finally took the leap. This is a fantastic offering for new and current clients, and also a wonderful opportunity for patients across the world to share their voices'.
