Kantar Public Names New India and South Asia CEO

Kantar Public has appointed Gaurav Sabharwa as Chief Executive Officer of India and South Asia, based in New Delhi. He takes over from Surya AV, who left in October after nearly two decades with Kantar.

Established by Michelle Harrison in 2016, Kantar Public pools expertise from around the group to offer advice on the delivery of public policy, services and communications. Earlier this year, the division announced it would be investing to double the size of its 'Public Voice' panel, to create what it described as 'the largest random sample panel in the UK'.

In India, Sabharwa (pictured) joins from Ernst & Young, where he served as Executive Director / Associate Partner involved in business, technology and transaction consulting across various domains within the Government and Public Services division. Prior to that, he was Head of the Central Government for Tata Consultancy Services.
