Kantar to Double Size of Public Voice Panel

January 25 2021

Kantar has today announced it is investing to double the size of its 'Public Voice' panel, launched just under a year ago. The move will create 'the largest random sample panel in the UK', according to the firm.

Craig WatkinsEstablished by Michelle Harrison in 2016, Kantar Public pools expertise from around the group to offer advice on the delivery of public policy, services and communications, and was identified as a strong growth engine for the wider group in late 2019. Public Voice is billed as a 'gold standard' service whose design and recruitment methods provide data from a random sample of the UK population, reducing the risk of bias, and the group says most respondents 'stay on the panel' because the volume / frequency of studies is kept low. Its size will now double from 10,000 to 20,000 people.

According to CEO Craig Watkins (pictured), the panel has seen 'unprecedented demand for the high quality research it provides' and will now grow to become one of the largest random sample panels anywhere in the world. He adds: 'This investment will help our clients and policymakers gain ever more granular insight into the people of Britain'.
