More Funds for Social Media Listening Firm Tagger

In the US, influencer marketing and social media listening platform Tagger has raised an additional $15m in a Series A round of funding, for use in product development and global expansion initiatives.

Dave DickmanTagger provides direct relationships with all major social media platforms, as well as access to billions of data points, enabling global brands, agencies and media companies to measure popularity using social media listening, and connect with and hire influencers. The firm's opt-in marketplace offers access to more than one million influencers, providing audience insights and behavior data, along with search tools and filters to find the most relevant individuals.

The new cash comes from Five Elms Capital, which also funded the initial $8.5m Series A round in April. Since closing the initial investment, Tagger has added to its global footprint, with new offices and resellers in Japan, South Korea, Africa, Germany, Mexico, LatAm and India.
