New Funds for Social Media Listening Platform Tagger

In the US, data-driven influencer marketing and social media listening platform Tagger Media has raised $8.5m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to accelerate product development and innovation, increase company awareness, and expand its global footprint and team.

Dave DickmanTagger provides direct relationships with all major social media platforms, as well as exclusive access to billions of data points, enabling global brands, agencies, and media companies to measure popularity using social media listening, and connect with and hire influencers. The firm's opt-in marketplace offers access to more than one million influencers, providing audience insights and behavior data, along with search tools and filters to find the most relevant individuals.

New funding comes from Five Elms Capital, and Tagger's CEO Dave Dickman (pictured) comments: 'With this capital, I'm proud to lead a global team that will grow and scale our platform, features, and resources to support Tagger users as they scale their influencer marketing and social (media) listening efforts.'
