Job Board Support for Ukrainian Researchers

April 27 2022

MrWeb and its job board partners ESOMAR and WIRe have launched a section dedicated to supporting Ukrainian insights and analytics professionals, whether refugees or those remaining in the war-torn country. This includes free job board postings and candidate registration services.

MrWeb and its job board partners are supporting Ukrainian researchersInsights and analytics professionals are among those driven from Ukraine by the war, and also among those staying behind in the country in some of the most difficult conditions imaginable. To support them in continuing their careers and maintaining their livelihoods, we will offer the following until further notice:

  • Employers can advertise for free any research roles in countries taking the lion's share of refugees - identified as Poland, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary and Germany*.
  • Positions in other countries that will specifically consider Ukrainian refugees, whether full- or part-time, can also for the time being be posted for free, and will appear on a new Ukrainian jobseeker home page on the MrWeb site.
  • Ukrainians looking for work can register their availability to be contacted via potential employers and will be offered an anonymous [at]mrweb.com format inbound email address for an additional security if required.
The page is live now, with the first jobs added from 22nd April, and we hope the first candidates will appear in the next few days. The section also includes an article with practical advice for Ukrainians looking for work specifically with UK companies, written by Liz Norman, founder and CEO of Elizabeth Norman International, who comments: 'ENI's experience is that most employers are keen to consider employees from the Ukraine: what very few have managed to navigate is the process involved with getting them into the country, including the visas. I think it is really important to help both the Ukrainians and the employers navigate the system to make employing them possible'.

We welcome questions, suggestions and comments about the service on ukr@mrweb.com.
