Meltwater Launches Three AI-powered Tools

May 23 2023

Social media intelligence and analytics specialist Meltwater has launched three AI-powered tools for video analysis, consumer and market insights, and writing assistance.

Aditya JamiMeltwater analyses more than 1.3 billion pieces of online content each day, enabling PR, communications and marketing professionals to make informed decisions. Its Enterprise Intelligence suite uses AI, natural language processing, computer vision and inference models to provide a unified view of datasets across media, user-generated content, influencer metrics, business intelligence and first-party data.

The firm now offers a video analysis solution, which enables users to capture insights from video content on social media platforms through advanced computer vision - identifying logos, celebrities, scenes and objects. In addition, the new 'Discovery AI-Based Insight Assistant' can highlight changes, shifts and trends in online conversations; and the 'AI Writing Assistant', uses a GPT model to help users craft content.

CTO Aditya Jami (pictured) comments: 'Meltwater has been investing in AI since day one, and these new generative AI enhancements will bring even more value to our customers. Our AI-powered tools bring the full value of media intelligence to organizations of all kinds by surfacing more relevant insights and generating content, ultimately saving time, streamlining workflows, and boosting productivity'.
