DV to Buy Digital Campaign Optimization Firm Scibids

In the US, digital media measurement software and analytics firm DoubleVerify (DV) has agreed to acquire AI-powered digital campaign optimization specialist Scibids Technology, in a cash and stock transaction valued at $125m.

Scibids builds AI that automates and optimizes an advertiser's programmatic buying of digital ad campaigns. Using DSP impression level data feeds (including price), first-party data, and measurement data provided by the brands or their agencies, the firm's AI dynamically generates custom bidding algorithms for clients aligned with the advertiser's KPIs and desired outcomes.

The buy will see DV's impression-level data combined with Scibids' AI technology to create a 'first-of-its-kind' joint offering spanning the media transaction end-to-end, from activation to measurement; and provide advertisers with real-time campaign optimization, without the use of third-party cookies.
