Copy Testing Specialist for Ipsos-ASI

Advertising research specialist Ipsos ASI has appointed Jacquie Matthews as Senior Vice President of Creative Development, based in Toronto. Matthews joins from Millward Brown, where she was VP of Client Services.

She was previously senior manager at Goldfarb Consultants and manager of a syndicated study with the NPD Group (now Ipsos-Reid). In her new position, Matthews will be responsible for providing innovative research solutions to advertising copy testing.

President and MD Peter Haslett praised her 'tremendous passion for her work, as well as an exceptional background in research and media'. Matthews says she is particularly interested in some of Ipsos's new and innovative products which 'help get at underlying unconscious, emotional attributes', citing Emoti*scape, a pictorial grid of 40 emotions.

Matthews holds an honours degree in commerce from McMaster University, and an MBA from McMaster University.
