Phoenix Buys Second Ethnic Specialist

Phoenix Marketing International has followed up its acquisition of African American specialist agency Juice by buying another US ethnic research specialist, Cultural Access Group. Like Juice, CAG becomes a part of the Phoenix Consumer Insights Group, managed by President, Tom Payne.

Formed in 1987, CAG tracks multi-cultural change and opportunities throughout the US and provides strategic direction and research insight to help companies effectively reach high-potential customers in emerging high-value market segments.

CAG President Raul Lopez, who joins Phoenix but keeps his current title, says his team is 'very excited to blend Phoenix's sophisticated research and modeling expertise with our significant experience and understanding of culturally diverse markets', adding that 'America's increasingly diverse population necessitates responsive changes in the marketing practices of US corporations'.

Cultural Access Group will retain its offices in Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. The two companies are online at www.phoenixmi.com and www.accesscag.com
