New Travel & Leisure VP for Synovate

Synovate has appointed Andrea Stokes as VP for Client Service in the Americas Travel & Leisure division. Stokes was formerly Director of Marketing and International Research at the Travel Industry Association of America (TIA).

Stokes, who was named one of Travel Agent magazine's Rising Stars and appeared in Travel Weekly's Top 40 Under Age 40, has more than 15 years' consumer and travel research experience. At TIA, her responsibilities included measuring consumer travel behaviour, media and Internet use, and analysing demographic and behaviour data to identify emerging travel trends and new market segments.

In her new role, Stokes will be responsible for developing client relationships and expanding Synovate's business in the Travel & Leisure sector.
