The Aberdeen Group, a US provider of technology research and insights, has appointed Alex Adamopoulus and Peter Kastner as Senior Research Analysts in its expanding Technology Research practice.
Kastner, who will focus on enterprise integration technology, has 18 years of market research experience in software and hardware technologies. He has spent a decade in systems integration, operations, and application development, and a decade in product marketing, market development, sales management, and training. In 2003, he was named one of MediaMap's five most sought-after analysts.
Adamopoulos, who will lead coverage of data management technology was previously Director of Global Services at EMC Corp. He also has experience of leading start-up businesses in the IT sector.
The company says the new additions to the team will enable it to conduct specific research programs and services around data management and the integration of information technology among enterprises, their customers, and their employees.
Jamie Bedard, CEO and President of Aberdeen, explains: 'As technology takes an even tighter hold on the way business is done, companies are consistently looking to leverage research-based analysis in choosing the right solution for their goals and requirements. The breadth and depth of the applications available require us to offer a broader set of unbiased, actionable technology research reports under the umbrella of our Technology Research Channel.'
