Skolnick Promoted to Synovate CEO Role

Synovate has appointed Robert Skolnick as its CEO for North America, allowing Robert Philpott to concentrate on his role as Global COO after recent doubling up. Based in New York, Skolnick was previously Executive VP for the Americas and for Synovate Healthcare.

He has been with the company for 21 years and has been a market researcher for 26 years. Recently he has been instrumental in growing Synovate's specialist divisions and practices in the Americas, including Financial Services, Technology & Telecom, Travel & Leisure, Diversity, Synovate Healthcare and others. He comments: 'I'm very excited about my new role within the company. I look forward to continuing to integrate industry sectors, build centres of excellence and develop new practices in a global context.'

Skolnick began his career in political consulting and he was admitted to the bar in 1977. He is a graduate of Queens College and has a JD from Brooklyn Law School.
