Greenfield to Offer 'Virtual Panels'

Greenfield Online will announce a new Real-Time Sampling™ capability at two major US conferences this week. The firm says the new technology will widen the industry's 'pool' of respondents and create 'Virtual Panels™' of respondents from its own Global Survey Network of affiliated web sites.

The CASRO Data Collection Conference and the AMA MPlanet Conference are taking place this week in Philadelphia and Orlando, respectively. Real-Time Sampling offers a survey invitation to members of the pre-screened and approved audience on the Network's sites – including many who the company says 'are willing to take a survey, but may not want to join a marketing research panel.' Once the individual clicks through, the firm's proprietary Survey Router screens them in real-time and assigns them to surveys for which they qualify based on demographic data.

Hugh Davis, Executive VP and the company's Co-Founder, comments: 'We're innovating again; developing proprietary mediums for gathering respondent feedback. With this new Real-Time Sampling capability, we can source the right respondent, for the right survey, when that specific individual might be in the right frame of mind to take a survey. We've built the capacity and infrastructure to create an ongoing flow of respondents into our survey projects through our pre-screened and approved partner sites and we are using it every day. With respondent cooperation being an issue for the entire market research industry we are excited to see this program and technology expand the pool of potential survey respondents we are able to reach.'
