Partners Link Email Marketing and Web Analytics

June 14 2007

InfoUSA-owned e-mail service provider Yesmail has partnered with business software firm Omniture to help its customers integrate their e-mail marketing with web analytics.

Using the Omniture Genesis 'plug and play' platform, customers will be able to review the success of their e-mail campaigns using a single dashboard from which to measure results and take necessary actions. John Mellor, Senior VP at Omniture explained that this reduces the complexity associated with combining technologies from various suppliers.

He added that clients will be able to more narrowly define their targeted audience, reduce mailing costs and increase return on investments.

Mike Hilts, President and General Manager of Yesmail commented: 'As Internet advertising expenditures grow to $12.6 billion, customers have a need to prove ROI on their online marketing spends. 'By partnering with Omniture, we continue to offer our customers best of breed marketing solutions to maintain a competitive edge while improving their marketing efficiency.'

Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Yesmail provides online marketing solutions in the form of e-mail marketing tools and solutions, including direct marketing applications, data management, data intelligence, interactive applications and best practices consulting. Owned by database giant, infoUSA (which owns MR firm Opinion Research Corporation www.mrweb.com/drno/news6215.htm ) the company is on the web at www.yesmail.com . Omniture produces business optimisation software which it provides through an on-demand subscription service, and is on the web at www.omniture.com .
