Analyse This – Psychiatric First for Synovate

Synovate Healthcare has launched an online Psychoses Therapy Monitor, its first venture into coverage of psychiatric treatment. Initial waves in the five biggest European economies will be followed by a US launch soon.

The service, covering the treatment of patients diagnosed with Schizophrenia and Bipolar 1 and 2, incorporates doctor demographics, attitudinal data and patient records, and offers a dedicated team of therapy experts for ad hoc query support and consultation. Results will be available twice a year.

Nick Hedley, who heads up the new team, comments, 'With online methodology leading to faster turnaround of data, clients can now receive the most up to date information at a time when, with patent expirations and new product launches, the market is poised for change over the next few years.'

The company's portfolio of therapy monitors include oncology, autoimmune, antiviral, metabolics and CNS disease.
