IIS Hires NPD Ops Veteran to Steer Global Integration

Ipsos Interactive Services (IIS) has appointed former NPD Senior VP Operations Jean Marie Davis as Vice President - Global Integration, based in the firm's New York office.

Davis joins with more than 26 years' experience in operations, panel, team and product management as well as process improvement. She began her career with NPD in 1981 as a junior data processor. Then from 1990 to 1998 - while raising her family - Davis worked part-time on large operations projects and also trained new ops staff. She returned full-time as Director of Panel in 1998 then left in 2000 to join Internet tracking company Media Metrix, where she was in charge of panel and data operations across 15 countries.

In 2002, Davis returned to NPD as VP of Operations where her remit was to bring in new processes and procedures and centralise operations among the Fashion, Home and Beauty divisions. She also brought the firm's retailer data from across 10 different countries into one centralised location.

Reporting to CEO Andrei Postoaca, in her new role Davis will oversee all integration projects between IIS North America and IIS Europe. Postoaca commented: 'I am very pleased to welcome Jean to the IIS team, she brings in a broad experience and will play an important role for strengthening the global perspective in the company.'

Davis told DRNO that she relishes turning divisions around and making significant impact in a company, adding: 'I look forward to building a cohesive and globally efficient team.'
