Greenfield-Ciao Hires for Japanese Expansion

Greenfield Online has appointed Mark Shepherd as Director of Internet Survey Solutions, to establish the new Greenfield-Ciao office in Tokyo while helping expand the firm's Asia-Pacific operations.

Shepherd joins with more than 17 years of Japanese business experience, including eight years' market research experience as Research Manager at TNS-Infoplan, and at Keizi.

'Establishing a firm presence in Japan is a key element of our strategy for extending our business in the Asian markets,' stated Andy Ellis, MD Asia-Pacific. 'We will achieve superior client results by joining our quality focus with Mark's impressive range of research experience and deep knowledge of the Japanese client.'

The firm is headquartered in Wilton Connecticut with web sites at www.greenfieldonline.com and www.ciao-group.com. Its Greenfield Online-Ciao Surveys arm currently operates 27 proprietary country panels including six in the Asia-Pacific region.
