April 3 2008

LA-based marketing sciences firm MarketShare Partners (MSP) has acquired econometric modeling firm Analytic Consulting Group (ACG) and appointed ACG's Founder Craig Stacey to its leadership team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ACG Founder Craig StaceyAtlanta- based ACG helps clients integrate market, customer and consumer knowledge with business strategy to improve online and offline marketing effectiveness.

'ACG has been looking for a strategic partner to help round out our offering for our global clients,' explained Stacey. 'In my opinion, MarketShare Partners is running circles around the traditional solution providers in the market with truly unique resource allocation and optimization models and tools. There was not a better choice for me and my clients.'

Stacey was previously Director of Marketing Science for The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to this, he was VP of Marketing Science at DemandTec; led Analytic Product Management and Development at Information Resources, Inc (IRI); and served as Research Director for Emory University's Zyman Institute of Brand Science.
