ORC Firm Offers Online Brainstorming

May 12 2008

Recently acquired infoUSA company Opinion Research Northwest has launched IDetailing, an online qualitative solution for 'ideation' and brainstroming.

The firm says IDetailing could be particularly useful for senior level business executives - notoriously reluctant participants - as well as for geographically diverse groups and hard to reach populations.

The groups can include larger numbers than traditional counterparts - as many as 30 in a single forum; participant anonymity to encourage free sharing of opinions and information; and the facility for clients to view data as it is collected at any time.

Senior VP Rebecca Elmore-Yalch comments: 'Qualitative research has become one of the beneficiaries of the technological revolution, and through IDetailing, companies can now more fully capture the reasoning behind the results of their research.'

IDetailing is available in the US, Europe and Asia.

Opinion Research Northwest, formerly Northwest Research Group, is a subsidiary of Opinion Research Corporation, acquired last year by parent firm infoUSA, shortly to be renamed infoGROUP. Web sites: www.opinionresearch.com/northwest , www.opinionresearch.com and www.infogroup.com .
