Merkle Aims to Double Analytics Team

May 16 2008

US database marketing agency Merkle is expanding its Quantitative Solutions Group through a recruitment drive which aims to bring in more than 150 statisticians and analytical consultants.

The Quantitative Solutions division provides clients with the analytical insight required to drive targeted, measurable marketing approaches, and its statisticians build and deploy over a thousand models and analytical projects annually. Advanced analytical services include media mix optimization, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, and direct marketing program analysis.

New employees will be assigned to teams supporting organizations in a wide range of sectors, including financial services, retail, telecom and media, travel and entertainment, consumer products and non-profit.

President and CEO David Williams said that the recruitment program has resulted from additional client and prospect demand for outsourced analytical and business intelligence resources that tie up with overall marketing requirements and utilize information across the enterprise. 'We are delighted that we have the necessary resources to scale headcount and capabilities to meet this increasing demand,' he added.

Merkle is headquartered near Washington, DC with additional locations in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia, Seattle and Hagerstown, Maryland, and is online at www.merkleinc.com .

Recently, Rich Fleck joined the company's Interactive Services division as VP Strategic Services, responsible for developing customized data-driven marketing approaches.
