Coremetrics Promises Faster Site Tagging

June 24 2008

US web analytics firm Coremetrics has launched a service which it says 'dramatically' reduces time spent tagging web sites for business and behavioral data collection, allowing clients to run and test the required script in a single day.

The firm says its new Quick Start solution accelerates the tagging process by approximately 95%, enabling 'go live' to take place in as little as three weeks.

To kick-start the process, clients attend a one-day session to determine their data acquisition strategy, after which Coremetrics delivers a superscript that automatically populates the client's site with JavaScript tags that collect business data.

'In most companies, online marketers are clamoring for tools to help them understand visitor behavior and gain insight into the performance of their marketing campaigns,' explained Chief Strategy Officer John Squire. 'They typically have to wait until people with the right IT skills are available before implementation can begin. Quick Start puts web analytics on the fast track so that clients can begin enjoying the advantages in weeks instead of months.'

Coremetrics is headquartered in San Mateo, California and is online at www.coremetrics.com .

Last month, the firm released a new platform that enables marketers to analyze data across all campaigns and web properties at a granular level.
