WebTrends Launches Data Exchange Platform

October 22 2008

Analytics firm WebTrends has unveiled a new, open-technology framework solution to enable organizations to connect digital marketing and other enterprise data with 'platform-agnostic' solutions.

According to the firm, this makes it possible to exchange data across an enterprise, free from the closed silos of mass-market web analytics suites.

The new WebTrends Connect framework enables the exchange of visitor-level online data with other standards-based systems and includes:

  • WebTrends Marketing Warehouse - which functions as a hub for the analysis and storage of online and offline data
  • WebTrends Connect - to streamline the exchange of data into and out of the warehouse, offering easy access to a variety of open, standards-based methods for data exchange
  • Data Scheduler - providing self-service, direct access to the warehouse database.
'If you want a one-size-fits-all packaged solution, you can get free web analytics,' says CEO Alex Yoder. 'But if you want to get the most out of your web data, WebTrends provides the only credible solution for creating one integrated view of your customer and enterprise data.'
