BIMA to Tap Speed-Trap Technology

French business intelligence firm BIMA Consulting has signed an agreement with customer insight provider Speed-Trap to sell the latter's technology and solutions as part of its marketing optimisation services.

Speed-Trap's 'UI Capture' solutions utilise Web 2.0 technology which captures customer experience and behavioural information on a real-time basis, without the use of traditional page-tagging.

BIMA (Business Intelligence and Marketing Automation) will enhance its current services using the technology to capture and exploit customer data in real-time and automate marketing activity.

BIMA MD Yves Boulanger explains: 'Speed-Trap allows us to upgrade our service offering by ensuring we can provide our customers with the ability to better understand each individual interaction with the web site in real-time.'

Speed-Trap's VP Operations, Malcolm Duckett added his belief that there is a 'natural synergy' between the two companies.

Earlier this month, IS Solutions also announced it is to offer clients access to real-time data on customers and prospects using Speed-Trap's technology.
