Canadian customer analytics provider iPerceptions has appointed IBM veteran Claude Guay as President and CEO. He joins from travel and tourism MR specialist PhoCusWright.

Guay previously served as EVP and CIO of apparel manufacturer Gildan Activewear, founded and served as CEO of management consultancy MTI Services, and was President and CEO of travel packaging solutions firm Accovia. For the sixteen years prior to this, he held business development, marketing and sales roles at IBM.

Founder and former CEO Jerry Tarasofsky will remain active in iPerception’s business operations as the company’s Chief Evangelist. He comments: ‘I am thrilled to welcome Claude to the team, and I look forward to working with him through the company’s next phase of growth’.

Yesterday, the firm reported a 35% increase in revenue for Q1 2009.
