MyBestProfiles Consumer Lifestyle Website Launch

Claritas, a provider of marketing information and target marketing services, has launched MyBestProfiles, the fourth website in its continuing series of sites designed to provide access to marketing information. The other three sites are MyBestProspects, MyBestCustomers and MyBestLists. MyBestProfiles provides access to consumer lifestyles and purchasing habits.

The series debuted in July 2000. With the addition of MyBestProfiles, Claritas provides the opportunity to gain a look at product or media behaviour by targeted audiences through the use of the company's segmentation systems and additional data sources. This can be utilised by clients who may not have a customer profile and want to identify certain target market segments.

The segmentation systems include PRIZM and MicroVision for overall lifestyle segmentation, as well as industry-specific segmentation with P$YCLE for the financial arena, LifeP$YCLE for insurance and ConneXions for the telecommunications, Internet and cable markets. Product and media profiles are accessible from syndicated surveys through Claritas' Convergence Audit (telecommunications, energy and cable behaviour) and Market Audit (financial behaviour).

Other providers include Simmons Market Research, Mediamark Research, Scarborough Research, National Research Corporation, Polk Automotive and NPD.
