Caroline CapelIn the UK, consumer and sensory specialist MMR Research (MMR) is expanding its insight offer for food, drink and personal care brands with the appointment of Caroline Capel as Director, Retail and Shopper Insight.

Oxfordshire-based MMR, which also has offices in New York, Singapore, Shanghai and London, provides clients in the food, drink and personal care sectors with sensory research, product testing, NPD and emotion-based research.

Capel joins with more than 20 years’ experience in retail, shopper and category management. She was previously Account Director at virtual research company Fifth Dimension, prior to which, she was an Account Director at TNS Magasin, and held senior merchandising and buying positions at ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Booker.

In her new role, Capel is responsible for developing and enhancing the firm’s shopper research service for international clients.
