Bill Douglas and Valerie DeatonIn the US, pharmaceutical and healthcare specialist CMI has appointed Bill Douglas as an Account Manager and Valerie Deaton as a Qualitative Manager.

Douglas will work in Consumer and Shopper Strategy and has eighteen years’ experience both practical and analytical in new product development/package design, advertising and merchandising testing/tracking. He joins the company from Envision Research Inc., where he managed both qual and quant projects. Prior to this he was Director, Strategy and Insights at Coca Cola and a Business Analysts at Kellogg’s.

Deaton will support clients across a wide range of industries using her international expertise in pharmaceuticals, healthcare and financial services. She joins after a period of freelancing, prior to which she was a VP Research and Analysis Services at Zaicom Research Plus, an AVP/Senior Group Manager at Chase Credit Card Service and also held roles at Roper Starch, Matthew Greenwald, Brintnall and Nicolini, and Principal Financial Group.

Recently appointed SVP of Client Solutions Donna Wydra said: ‘Bill and Valerie are wonderful additions to our client solutions team. They each possess a wide range of experience turning insights into action, particularly since they've spent years on both the client and supplier sides of the business.’
