Brain Surgery Worldwide

March 13 2014

Heather RuppIn the US, Brain Surgery Worldwide has promoted cognitive neuroscientist Heather Rupp to the role of Vice President.

Founded in 2003, the firm’s approach brings together aspects of qual and quant research to capture information from respondents while their prefrontal cortex is active. The firm focuses on ‘emotion-based behaviour insight’, uncovering what drives choice, decisions, and behaviour using its hybrid approach.

Rupp (pictured) joined in 2012 to lead Brain Surgery’s psychological/neuroscience services, including the co-ordination of its global team of psychologists located in 29 countries. Prior to this, she worked at neuroscience specialist EmSense, and for The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University as an Assistant Research Scientist.

Brain Surgery Worldwide Chairman & CEO John Carr comments: ‘Heather does a wonderful job of bridging the findings of neuroscience into marketing applications.’
