Triple-S Group

October 28 2014

Pat MolloySalience Insight Consulting Chief Information Officer Pat Molloy has joined the Triple-S Group, which is responsible for the international survey data interchange standard of the same name. He has more than 30 years' experience in operations and survey technology.

Set up by Keith Hughes, Steve Jenkins and Geoff Wright in 1994, Triple-S Group is the only vendor-independent international standard for error-free transmission of research data between different software platforms. It is currently supported by more than 80 market research software suppliers and is widely used by market research companies worldwide. All members of the Triple-S Group work as volunteers to develop, maintain and promote the standard.

Molloy (pictured) joined media measurement firm Salience Insight earlier this year, to streamline the firm's technology. He was previously CEO of Pulse Train when it was acquired by Confirmit in 2007, and he then became Confirmit's Chief Strategy Officer. Earlier in his career, he served as a main Board Director at NOP; MD of Quantime (later acquired by SPSS); and CTO at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS).

He has a particular interest in big data, the 'Internet of Things', and the continuing evolution of the survey.
