In the US, location data firm Cuebiq has hired former Yahoo! exec Brad Piggott for its newly created role of Senior Vice President of Sales for the Central Region.

Cuebiq provides 'geo-behavioral audiences' for cross-platform ad targeting, real-time campaign optimization and footfall attribution tools, as well as off-line location analytics. Piggott (pictured) joins from Yahoo!, where he served as VP, Head of Industry – Platform & Managed Sales. He previously worked for video ad firm BrightRoll (acquired by Yahoo! for $640m) as VP, North America, overseeing a team of more than 80 staff. Earlier, he was Midwest Sales Director for TripAdvisor, and he was a Senior Account Executive for Dow Jones.

In his new Chicago-based role, Piggott will lead Cuebiq’s Sales Operation, working closely with CRO Michael Della Penna on the firm’s growth plan and strategy for the Central region.
