John Owen is CEO of QSR International - the world’s largest qualitative data analysis software developer, with clients in more than 150 countries and offices in North America, Europe and Australia. John has more than 20 years’ experience in the enterprise resource planning (ERP), banking and finance and qualitative research software industries. British born, he has held senior roles in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia.
John is a regular contributor to technology and research media, specializing in expert commentary on software development, exporting, the trend towards qualitative research technologies, and a range of issues affecting SMEs. He is particularly passionate about how qualitative research can complement quantitative studies and the role of qualitative research software in the commercial market research field.
A black belt in karate, John is based in Melbourne, Australia.
